I’m not a sports person. I never played in high school, I don’t check the local scores, and I remember football teams by color.

“Ohhh, you like the red ones? Yeah. They’re cool.”

But every once in a while, the world cheers so loudly that even I hear it. I get sucked in. And I end up biting my nails during the NBA playoffs, doing a celebratory jig when each shot is made, and screaming at the top of my lungs when the Mavericks smacked DOWN the Heat. Because really? Lebron? He’s no Michael Jordan. And he certainly isn’t cool enough to be in Space Jam.

*Michael Jordan. Because you were always classy, and nice enough to save the Tune Squad from an indeterminate fate on Moron Mountain.

*Wedding cake–one of the best parts of wedding season. And clearly the most delicious.

*Pure Illumination lipgloss. I got this for my birthday and I’ve been obsessed ever since. It’s lipgloss. With a built-in LED light and mirror!

 

*Really really hot, humid weather. Does anyone else miss fall? I know I do.

*The scarcity of baby-sitters when you really really want to go to the movies. To see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. And Johnny Depp.

*The Miami Heat. Duh.
