The overcast sky turned darker overhead as we looked up, the rain quietly announcing itself with the occasional large wet drops on our heads. We raised our umbrellas and buttoned our coats as we waited for him.

I had the pleasure of doing engagement pictures for one of my best friends, Melissa. We’d stayed up late planning outfits, coordinating shoes, and blocking out all the wonderful places to shoot pictures in downtown Huntsville. What we didn’t foresee, was Alabama’s crazy weather.

Despite the obstacles, we made the best of it shooting squatted in building overhangs and huddling under our umbrellas.
