Today I’m excited to say I’ll be meeting with a wonderful local photographer, Leslie Willard. I found her some time ago and adored her work. Lucky for me she was sweet and approachable! She agreed to meet with me and answer any questions I might have! I promise to tell all when I get home.

Yesterday, I dragged Kyle to the park with me to get some shots. I’ve been wanting to play with aperture and practice it with portrait-like shots. With minimal eye-rolling, he humored me and took direction like a pro. Here’s a peek at how it turned out!

We also spotted a huuuuuuuge praying mantis enjoying its meal.
