I’ve definitely been in a traveling mood lately. A few weeks ago, I set off on a short trip to Attalla, Al to sample some of  Wills Creek Vineyards‘ wines. The drive was beautiful. I watched as the city melted away and was replaced by soft rolling hills and open countryside. As I opened the door to the quaint tasting room, I was met with the rich aromas of sweet wines, cheeses, and meats.  I’m fairly new to wine tasting, and had many questions. Luckily, Jahn (owner and winemaker) was there to guide me through the process of choosing the best wines (and making suggestions along the way)! My guilty pleasure is dessert wine and I fell completely in love with a white chocolate raspberry wine. I am definitely planning to go back for more! After relaxing with my wine (and perfectly paired cheese tray) on the back patio, I took a stroll to explore the property.

GORGEOUS. Vineyard wedding anyone?

I saw this couple walking past the row of trees back towards the winery and couldn’t resist! (This is what happens when a wedding photographer takes a trip!) Can you imagine an entire engagement session here?!

After the winery, I drove a few miles down the road to check out their wedding venue. I absolutely adored the vines on the hill and beautiful archways!

OHH…This sweet puppy. I have no words!
