Last week I had the pleasure of shooting an engagement session with an amazing couple. I met these two through a mutual friend and finally got the chance to work with them on a dreamy themed session. First, Sawsan had always envisioned re-creating her parent’s wedding photos. After much planning, weather-watching, and location scouting, we decided to use a local wheat field. (Our timing couldn’t have been better—it was cut the very next day!) Sawsan changed into her mother’s wedding dress and the magic began!
I altered the above photo to look more like the original photo below. Side by side, are two gorgeous wedding photos of two generations. I can see a new tradition in the making!
Isn’t she stunning?
After we finished in the field, we headed to a local orchard for their engagement session. Sawsan had planned out an entire romantic picnic theme. How creative!
One of my favorites from the shoot below!
I was wondering where this location was and if it was open land to work on? Not a photographer, but was asked to take some pics for a friends grad.
Hey! It’s actually in a local orchard called “Isom’s Orchard.” It’s a beautiful place for photos! Unfortunately, about two weeks ago they decided to close the grounds to photos. So no pictures there! 🙁
