Growing up in a small town, you get to know people. Sure you may not know everyone, but it’s inevitable that after seeing the same people every day, you’ll begin to pick things up. I went to school with Melissa. She was one of those girls you admired—-beautiful, intelligent, and always seemed to have something nice to say. She was filled with this inner light and positivity that shone through in whatever she did.

When I met Melissa and Garrett for their engagement session last week, I got to see that light again. The two of them have amazing chemistry together and appeared completely at ease laughing and flirting in each other’s arms. We spent our session walking through Downtown Huntsville and Big Spring Park. Garrett is from Montreal and they both love the look dressy urban photos—so we spent most of the session trekking through the city.
