I’d been looking forward to Kelly and Jim’s St. Augustine wedding for almost a year. Combine travel to one of my favorite cities AND an amazing wedding to photograph and I’m pretty much in heaven.

I dubbed my husband Ryan as the official assistant/gear-carrier and off we went. After arriving into town a few days early, we checked into our adorable AirBnb rental and toured the Serenata Beach Club. As a destination wedding photographer, I like to be able to scout the city for beautiful photo areas and plan ahead as much as possible. It gives tons of options for the day-of AND allows me to get to know the roads/traffic ahead of time!

Kelly and Jim’s wedding day began at a bright, airy seaside cottage. From there, a first look under spanish moss, a downtown garden, and the ocean view from their Serenata Beach Club wedding made their day perfection.
