I love the way Emily and Zac interact with one another—–a thousand little glances and smiles culminating in an obviously deep affection and tenderness. It was an honor to spend the day photographing this Nirvana Gardens wedding. Twinkling lights adorned the trees and deep blue hydrangeas were in bloom. It was a day to remember.

As the ceremony began, the skies rumbled dark and grey. The familiar sound of  heavy rainfall could be heard in the distance. The ceremony was set,  guests seated, and Zac awaited his bride. One by one, small raindrops started falling. As the Emily made her way across the grassy field, umbrellas opened—and slowly closed again.

There was no rain. The remainder of the ceremony was dry and quiet, with only Zac and Emily’s vows to be heard.
